In July, 2020, the Goethe-Institut Myanmar offer Reconnect 2020 open call to support friends and colleagues in cultural field who took a break during corona pandemic. For Reconnect 2020 open call, 180 proposals were received, of which 20 projects for 2020 and 20 projects for 2021 were selected to support.
Reconnect 2020 supported the projects in the field of;

Literary Education
Book Production
Some of the selected projects will be exhibited for 44 days from November 12th , 2022 to January 12th, 2023. The exhibition will be carefully orchestrated at across 7 venues throughout 5 townships at once.

The Goethe-Institut Myanmar wants to thank all applicants for the RECONNECT cultural program 2020/2021. We received almost 180 proposals; this is a very promising and an overwhelming response. Going thru all the applications the Goethe-Institut will support about 22 projects 2020 and another 20 in 2021. We wish to present the RECONNECT projects from November to December 2020 at the Goethe-Institut Open Air, and partly in our auditorium (following Covid 19 rules by the Myanmar authorities). In 2021 we will continue the RECONNECT presentations at the Goethe-Institut. Please follow the detailed program and details on our website or on Facebook.
