What do you think if you hear Berlin? Do you think of flashing lights, young urban culture, free spirit, the historical past? Berlin is a city that functions as a “projection screen” for human desires, a city where good and bad are often closely linked together. What medium, if not film, would be better to transport the “Berlin feeling”?
This May we will bring Berlin to KL. The Goethe-Institut is going to screen five iconic films that allow the audience to dive into various perspectives on Berlin, starting in the late 1980s with Wim Wender’s “Der Himmel über Berlin” and closing with “Victoria” from 2015.

All films are with English subtitles.
