Your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar will be ascertained in individual sentences and fill-in-the-blank texts.
In this section you will hear interviews, lectures, conversations and statements taken from both professional (pertaining to nursing as well as general professions) and day-to-day life contexts. You will be required to identify key messages and important details.

Total duration: 60-90 minutes
You will be asked to write a text, for example, a referral report for a patient. You will also be required to write a formal letter in a professional context.
Duration: 75 minutes
You will conduct a conversation with your conversation partner and have a debate with one another, once playing the role of a nurse and once playing the role of a patient.
You will also be required to introduce a patient to a group of colleagues and then ask and answer questions.
