Please note that a total score of 60 does not automatically mean that an examinee has passed the A2 exam since a certain number of points needs to be reached separately for the written exam and the oral exam.

In order to pass the A2 exam, the participant needs to have a total of 45 points or above on the written exam (total for Lesen, Hören and Schreiben) and 15 points or above for the oral exam. Otherwise, the entire exam will be deemed to have been failed.

For example, if you did not reach a total of 45 points for Lesen, Hören and Schreiben, the entire written part needs to be taken again (all 3 parts - Lesen, Hören and Schreiben).
If you did not reach at least 15 points for the Sprechen part, but you have a total of 45 points for Lesen, Hören and Schreiben, then you can re-take the Sprechen part only.

Please note a person can only do a partial retake for the A2 exam once. For example, if they still did not pass the written exam on their 2nd take, then they will need to take the full exam on their 3rd take.
For the written exam, it costs 90 euros (Php 4,400). For the speaking exam, it costs 45 euros (Php 2,200). Please note that the partial re-take should be done within 1 year from the first exam.
