We will be traveling to the north of Germany via Zoom

Our next virtual journey takes us to two of Germany's best-known northern cities -- Hamburg and Bremen. Logistics, trade and the food industry dominate both cities, especially through their ports. Hamburg attracts visitors with its diverse cultural offerings and specialties such as pears, French rolls and fish. Bremen attracts visitors with the landmark of the Bremen Town Musicians and the historic old town.

Together with the Welcome Center Hamburg, the Bremen Economic Development Agency and the welcome coaches from the Goethe-Institut, you will get to know both cities and their diversity:
  • Cities and regions
  • Nature and culture
  • Culinary specialties
  • History, technology and innovation
  • Career opportunities and contact persons

Date: February 29, 2024

What is a Welcome Center and Welcome Coach?
The Welcome Centers provide information and support for integration into the cultural and professional life in Germany. The Welcome Coaches are individuals in Germany who assist upon arrival. They work at the Goethe Institutes in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Göttingen, Mannheim, and Munich.

The seminar will be held in German with Simultaneous Translation English, Spanish, French and Arabic. We will then select participants for the online seminar.

The Goethe-Institut and AMIF (Asyl-, Migrations-, Internationalsfonds) provide information services to those who want to move to Germany permanently for work or personal reasons through the " “pre-integration" project. The Goethe-Institut prepares you comprehensively in terms of both language skills and life challenges in Germany.
