Join us for a special presentation by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen, in collaboration with QCinema International Film Festival!

"QCinema Selects" showcases the thought-provoking 2024 film by Iranian filmmaker Narges Kalhor. In this unconventional political comedy, Narges decides to drop “Shahid” (meaning “martyr”) from her surname and hires an actress to navigate the process. However, she finds herself haunted by her great-grandfather, faced with daunting German bureaucracy, and contending with a rebellious cast.
