​Adnan Lugonić

Adnan Lugonić was born in Sarajevo in 1988 and completed his bachelor's and master's studies at the Department of Dramaturgy of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. This year he was elected Senior Assistant in the Department of Dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. He was artistic director of the National Theatre Mostar and premiered the plays When we speak out (Chamber Theatre 55 Sarajevo, National Theatre Marin Sorescu Craiova, Romania) and There won’t be an End of the world (National Theatre Mostar). As a playwright, he worked on several plays at Sarajevo War Theatre, National Theatre in Sarajevo, Chamber Theatre 55 Sarajevo and National Theatre in Mostar.
Adnan is the winner of the Special Prize of the Expert Jury at the Festival of BH Drama and Author's Theatre, as well as the Special Prize for the Best Text of the Expert Jury of the Festival Days by Jurislav Korenić for the drama When We Speak Out. For the dramatization and dramaturgy of the play The Secret of Raspberry Jam, he received the special prize of the expert jury of the MESS Festival.
