#GoetheLiest (Goethe Reads) is a project that was conceived by the libraries of the Goethe-Institut in the Region SAN (Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand). We present a series of video clips introducing books available in German which will awake local and regional interest. Whether near or far, you can enjoy our witty content from your smart phone screen.
For each clip that is no longer than 5 minutes, we invite translators, authors, artists, German teachers, language learners and/or passionate readers to review one book, from any genre, and talk about what makes their pick interesting and worth reading. You may find a book introduction, bilingual readings, or creative storytelling soliloquies. Our guest in each clip will evoke curiosity to find out more about their selection
