Artists
Wolfgang Glemser
In addition to music, Glemser initially studied mathematics. His piano studies with Prof. Vitalij Margulis at the HfM in Freiburg/Br. soon became so important and time-consuming for him that Glemser chose to devote his time completely to the piano. On finishing his diploma in Freiburg, he went on to successfully complete his postgraduate studies under the tutelage of Professor Lvov at the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen.
He now performs in countries throughout Europe, Asia, Central America and South Africa. In 1994, Glemser was awarded the silver medal of merit by the University of Constance.
Since 2013 he has been head of the music department at the BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg.
He performs four-hand piano concerts together with his wife Veronika Glemser.
Veronika Glemser
The pianist and piano teacher started her piano studies at a very early age. Later, she also took up the cello and became a permanent member of the student orchestra of the University of Tübingen, where she studied musicology.
Veronika Glemser successfully completed her training as a pianist with a diploma in music education at the Musikhochschule Heidelberg under Prof. Dan followed by a postgraduate concert diploma under Prof. Lvov in Trossingen.
Since then she has combined teaching (BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg) and concert activities with a focus on chamber music, especially in the form of four-hand piano performances with her husband.
