“NOMADIC THEATRE”

“Nomadic theatre” involves audiences wearing headphones, combining storytelling and sound with local scenery to ignite the imagination. Audiences can wander through neighborhoods, exploring corners they wouldn't typically visit, discovering different facets of urban spaces and the hidden stories within. Additionally, with the collaboration of Urban Baker and the Urban Baker App, audience can interact with the space through GPS positioning, text messages, images, and more. They can even choose different endings, adding a gaming element to the storytelling experience.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In October 2023, the lingering soul of an old mailman can be felt at the intersection of You'ai Street in Tainan. There is an unsent letter, without an address or recipient's name. We search for the letter's destination via the clues in the mailman's notebook. As we arrive there, we hear the echoes of a bygone era.
