Jooyoung Oh is a media artist who uses interactive technologies such as games and artificial intelligence chatbots. She has developed her work through two interdisciplinary backgrounds: visual design and engineering. She is interested in the process of human visual perception and studies the simulation of artificial cognitive models, while at the same time constantly asking questions about the limitations of science and technology from her perspective as an artist. Since 2017, her work has been selected in major exhibitions such as ISEA, SIGGRAPH, and others. She is a multiple award winner in many prestigious art programs, such as ART+SCIENCE COLLIDE Grand Prize, 2Da Vinci Creative Award, IEEE Brain Winner at Ars Electronica. She has participated in numerous exhibitions including Nam June Paik Art Center, Art Center Nabi, Ilmin Museum of Art, Daejeon Museum of Art, Ungno Lee Museum of Art, Hyundai Motor x New Museum Rhizome Seoul, Beijing Exhibition, Gyeongnam Museum of Art, Arko Art Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Art, etc, and is sponsored by NCSOFT and ZER01NE as a creator.
