He is particularly interested in project delivery and design research, especially on public libraries and civic infrastructure more broadly. He’s served on the Board of Trustees at the Amber Charter School in New York, and has participated in numerous community design and social outreach programs.Harris has worked as an architect for over fifteen years in Washington, DC and New York, and has been a key component in designing and delivering large institutional and cultural projects – working with clients ranging from the New York Public Library to the Ford Foundation.
