TOP visits Kaufbeuren

The Transatlantic Outreach Program (TOP) and the Goethe-Institut Visitors Programme invite you to join several families in the town of Kaufbeuren for coffee and cake as we discuss the topics of family life in Germany, sustainability, and challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Located in the heart of the Allgäu region of Bavaria, Kaufbeuren has been a favorite destination for TOP study tour participants since 2017. Renowned for having the oldest historical children's festival in all of Bavaria, known as the Tänzelfest, Kaufbeuren and its citizens have become a model success story for best practices in successful refugee integration. In addition to refugees, families in Kaufbeuren have opened their hearts and homes to TOP study tour participants who have gotten to experience daily family life through two-night-long "home stays".
