The Goethe-Institut invites bids from experienced content developers / training service providers to conceptualise and develop content/curriculum for a Proposal Writing & Project Management Workshop series for arts and cultural practitioners.

Objective
The Goethe-Instutut seeks to support arts and cultural practitioners from lesser serviced areas with professional training in funding proposal writing, project management and monitoring and evaluation. This initiative is to facilitate skills transfer through workshops and an explainer video to equip participants with skills that enable them to write successful funding proposals, and to implement and evaluate their projects effectively.
Deliverables
The selected service provider will fulfil the following in November/December 2024:
- Conceptualise and develop workshop content/curriculum to be used to deliver a half-day workshop (max 5 hours) to arts and cultural practitioners on:
- Proposal writing
- Project management
- Project monitoring and evaluation
- Create a storyboard, for the adaptation of the workshop content for video. The content shall be adapted (by the Goethe-Institut) for short explainer/how-to videos that will serve as an open-access online resource.
Essential Elements of the Proposal
- Submit a max 2-page proposal that includes approach, topics to be covered and detailed budget.
- The service provider’s profile or CV.
Criteria for Selection
Submissions after the deadline will not be considered. The evaluation of bids will consist of two parts: Price (50%), quality of offer/proposal (50%)
Eligibility criteria:
- Experience in conceptualisation of trainings or delivery of trainings within the CCI sector.

Offers need to be submitted electronically to Josephine Heide (Josephine.Heide@goethe.de) with the subject line “Proposal Writing Concept” no later than October 31, 2024 12h00 SAST. Late submissions will not be considered. The Goethe-Institut reserves the right to ask for additional documentation after submission.
