Tom Dai: Tough Marriage Life

Tom Dai is a visual artist, born in Bentiu, South Sudan. He finds inspiration in expressing himself through his art to his fellow South Sudanese people. He creates contemporary artwork such as portraits, cartoons and paintings. After he finished his Degree in Statistics, he felt like he was called to do something more. So, he started a new chapter using art for peace. He believes that art has the power to connect us and build understanding and healing in South Sudan.

As such, he has pursued a career in the world of media, publishing, and communications to pair his creative skills with research and communication to make the world a little smaller. Fikade is an Ethiopian independent filmmaker with over five years of work experience in the theatre, film and television industry working as a practicing filmmaker. He was a former University Lecturer and former Tv writer. He taught 'Introductions to film' to High School students online via the US embassy. Now he is studying Cinematography at SRFTI, India to evolve human beings, culture and technology as a whole through the cultivation and enrichment of human minds and spirits.
