Benjamin Monteil, born and raised in Dakar by artist parents, arrived in France in 2007 to study art. It was only six years later that he took the path of printmaking at the Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, after having discovered the technique during a comic book course in Liège. Today he lives between Dakar and Amsterdam.

Babacar Dieye: L'immigration Clandestine

Babacar Dieye is a Senegalese graphic designer and visual artist. Through the workshops of the Spanish foundation "intervida", he obtained a certificate in screen printing and plastic art in 2008. In 2010, he won the first prize in the Senegalese poster competition "les bibliothèques carrément foot" organized by the Goethe-Institut and obtained a certificate in commercial art. In 2012, he obtained a diploma of higher artistic education and became a teacher of plastic arts education.

Marc Accoh Mensah: Melenetane

Accoh Mensah Marc, together with his brother Anani Accoh, has already won several prizes, including the Africa e Mediterraneo 2006 and the prize of the Africa Competition of the Festival of Angoulême. He also released two albums (Africavi and Summits of Africa).

Hamza Niang, 23, is a design student at Supimax and a philosophy student at UCAD. He is a designer and illustrator at Yité technologie and teaches 2D digital drawing for the startup “Ashita” at Institut Français. He is a professional esport player at soloesport and a two-time African champion in Mortal Kombat. He is a big fan of everything art related.

Assane Diop, born in Guédiawaye in 1996, has been passionate about drawing since his early childhood. In July 2021, he published a comic book entitled TSUNDI. His goal is to draw comics that can surpass Japanese manga.
