Congolese artist Judith Kaluaji takes us along on her hunt for inspiration with her comics in the streets of Kinshasa and explains how she transforms them into stories. Suffering a shortage of ideas is impossible because she consciously looks at her surroundings and incorporates them into her comics. She has been active in the Congolese comic scene since 2010. The video shows the process of her comic production. It discusses the pros and cons of the comic scene in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and gives an encouraging outlook for aspiring artists.
