Description

The German-language comic scene is more diverse than it has been for a long time. An important role is played by the graphic novel format, which is increasingly being discovered by cartoonists and the public. We are showing a selection of outstanding recent publications. The exhibition is based on the graphic novel collections 2015 and 2014 of the Frankfurt Book Fair, compiled by Andreas Platthaus, deputy head of the arts section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, who also wrote the descriptions (with the exception of "Die große Transformation", "Kinderland", "Pimo & Rex" and "Treibsand"). Have fun reading, browsing and discovering!
