Description

School exchanges: It does not always have to be a full school partnership. Many small activities enrich the teaching process just as much and help students to make contacts across borders independently. (PDF: Tips for school exchanges and e-mail projects)

The eTwinning program, supported by the European Commission, offers special possibilities for virtual exchanges.
School trips and city rallies: Why not organise a trip to a German city near the Belgian border? Here you can find thematic city rallies about the cities near the border, namely Aachen, Cologne and Trier. The tasks are suitable for secondary school pupils as well as for students.

The answers to the tasks can be researched in advance on the internet or can be studied on the spot by talking to locals. For the picture puzzles, the students have to compare the manipulated pictures with the real view of the city.

Depending on the age/language skills of the students, the questions can be supplemented with a map of the city with or without marking important places in order to facilitate the search.
