Description

Germany is known for its sophisticated system of waste separation and recycling. What belongs in the green, brown, yellow, and blue garbage can? Many newcomers despair under the strict gaze of their new neighbours. And yet, Germany occupies the first place in Europe with regard to plastic waste. In the November article from Presse und Sprache, we learn what each and every individual can do to prevent the plastic waste mountain from growing immeasurably.

The reading text with word explanations and audio with exercises are suitable for level B1 and up. Your learners will have the opportunity to reflect on their own consumer behaviour - which is what we should all be doing. In the language classroom and beyond - right!?
