Lena C. Frembs is a junior researcher at the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB) on the project “FReDA – The German Family Demography Panel Study”. She studied sociology and psychology, as well as empirical educational research. Before joining the BiB, she worked as a research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) on the project National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). Her research focuses on loneliness, wellbeing, gender roles, personal development, partnership and singlehood.
