Hernán D. Caro, author, moderator, and editor, born in Bogotá, Colombia, has lived in Germany since 2001. He holds a PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin and has written for various media in Latin America and Germany, including Arcadia magazine and Deutsche Welle. He organizes and moderates literary events, is a freelance journalist for the feature section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung and co-editor of the Humboldt Magazine.
