Dirk von Gehlen is a journalist, author and source of inspiration, especially on digital topics. The journalism graduate works as Director Think Tank at the SZ Institute, he has published numerous books on the internet and society ˜– including “Mashup – Lob der Kopie“, “Das Pragmatismus-Prinzip“ (Piper) and „Meme – Muster digitaler Kommunikation”. In his blog “Digitale Notizen” (Digital Notes), he publishes monthly net culture charts in which he notes digital observations and pheno-memes. Dirk von Gehlen lives and works in Munich and on the internet.
