Carsten Otte, born in Bad Godesberg in 1972, studied philosophy in Berlin, published novels and non-fiction books, has been writing for the feature pages since the early 1990s and now lives as a literary critic in Baden-Baden. Otte has been editor of the SWR Bestenliste since 2019 and also hosts readings. In addition to his reviews for SWR Kultur, he reviews prose and poetry in many other media.
