Generational Issues

Which generation do you feel you belong to? Who sets the agenda in your country – the younger or the older generation? What differences exist between the generations? And what conflicts? How do current ideas about partnership and sexuality differ from those of earlier generations? What can young and old people learn from each other? Which memories must not be forgotten under any circumstances? What can we do to ensure better understanding between the different generations? And what will the world of our great-grandchildren actually look like?

We asked these questions and many others to people aged between nine and seventy-seven from all different parts of the world. The answers reflect different perspectives: they are both cheerful and thoughtful, they confirm our assumptions and fundamentally contradict them at the same time. The videos are presenting diverse voices on various key topics of the Kultursymposium Weimar.
