Hannah Schillinger is a Berlin-based choreographer, dancer, and artist exploring contemporary themes such as the climate crisis, virtuality, and activism. Her movement language draws from modern and postmodern dance, incorporating classical and pop cultural references. She creates "virtual sculptures" and integrates quantum physical principles into her compositions. With a BA in Modern Theatre Dance from the Amsterdam University of the Arts and an MA in Choreography from HZT Berlin, where she was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation, Schillinger's recent works include "vacuum" (2021) and "runners" (2022). She received the 2022 artistic development grant from GSE Berlin.
