© Sarah Selby Sarah Selby is a London-based visual artist and academic whose work critically examines digital culture through the innovative use of new media technologies, including artificial intelligence, DNA data storage, and extended reality.

Sarah studied Interactive Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University before joining the
Computational Arts MA at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is particularly drawn to interdisciplinary collaboration, which has led to successful partnerships with institutions such as The University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre, biotechnology firm Twist Bioscience, and King’s Forensics at King’s College London. Her work has gained international recognition, with exhibitions at venues like arebyte, Science Gallery London, and Control Shift.

She is the recipient of the 2023 Lumen Prize in the 3D/Interactive category for her artwork Between the Lines, which also received an honorary mention for the S+T+ARTS prize. Sarah currently teaches on the Creative Computing BSc at the University of the Arts London.She will travel to Karlsruhe, Germany to explore the correlation between quantum technologies and art.
