“The man of power is ruined by power, the man of money by money, the submissive man by subservience, the pleasure seeker by pleasure.”
Hermann Hesse, SteppenwolfThe underground defines itself as much as it defies itself. Sometimes, talking about it encourages it to transform, migrate, and mutate, for better or for worse. We can probably all agree that we are currently living in challenging times, with the pandemic, authoritative control, and capitalist greed becoming cataracts to a collective expressive vision. Yet we continue to adapt. We carve and erode these hegemonic systems, finding collective strength to validate our voices.
“Music is the least interesting thing about clubs.”
