Gabriela Mayer was born in the city of Buenos Aires. She is a writer and cultural journalist with a degree in Communications Sciences (UBA). She has published four books of short stories. The most recent of them is Sueños como cuchillos (Dreams Like Knives, 2022). She writes and has contributed to Argentinian and international media outlets. She is currently working in charge of the press area of the Goethe-Institut of Buenos Aires.
