Petra Schönhöfer studied Theater Studies in Mainz and Cultural Journalism in Munich. After gaining some experience as a director's assistant, she honed her journalistic skills in various daily newspapers, from the Mainzer Rhein-Zeitung to the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In 2009, she founded her own editorial office and has since primarily focused on cultural topics, environmental conservation, travel, and the digital realm. She resides on the island of Usedom and occasionally swaps her desk for a beach chair.
