El Asfaar

El Asfaar collects 12 insightful reports from the lives of people in North Africa and the Middle East. With El Asfaar, the Goethe-Instituts North Africa/Middle East and the Reportageschule Reutlingen want to promote solution-oriented and differentiated foreign reporting on North Africa/Middle East, young journalism and intercultural journalistic exchange.

Mirath:Music (Heritage:Music)

is a regional touring sound exhibition in North and Northeast Africa and West Asia that was developed through the participation of musicians and Goethe-Instituts from seven different countries: Algeria, Sudan, Tunisia, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan.

Ta’ziz Partnership

The Ta’ziz Partnership, supported by the Goethe-Institut, aims to strengthen and support civil society actors in Sudan, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Mauretania, and Egypt through cultural and educational projects in cooperation with local partner organisations. The project is funded by the German Foreign Office.
