Thread Circle explores the formulas for the area and circumference of circles. In doing so, we acquire more then just a few equations but also gain a model for breaking apart complexity and taking on new ideas. In his educational work, Beau Janzen strives to bring an artist’s sensibility of storytelling and connecting with an audience. He believes that concepts in math and science, which are too often viewed as dry and lifeless, are in fact compelling, personally relevant, and hold a special beauty.
