After over a decade and living in four different countries, Viola Kessel returned to Argentina in February 2020 to take up responsibility for the PASCH initiative („Schulen: Partner der Zukunft“) at the Goethe-Institut.
Based in Buenos Aires, she offers her expertise to teachers, educators, students and alumni of 20 schools in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, to foster the quality of german teaching, as well as curiosity for unknown countries, new ideas, different media, and people. During the ongoing national lockdown, she is exploring new models of engagement online by creating virtual spaces for personal encounters, learning, and creativity, together with her colleagues. The Science Film Festival will be a space where people can come together, learn, reflect, exchange, and create ideas for a more sustainable form of living.
