In 2024, India is celebrating the 8thyear of Science Film Festival. The Goethe Institut(s) in New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune, in collaboration with their respective partner schools and institutions, will be hosting the festival during from October-December.The focus of the festival this year is ‘Net Zero and the Circular Economy’.Goethe-Institut will be hosting screenings at various venues facilitated by our partners; National Council for Science Museums (NCSM), PASCH schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Society for all Round Development, Environmental Foundation of India. The festival will be in hybrid mode with online and offline screenings across India.
SFF will begin with a launch event in Delhi with film screenings, workshop on the theme of circular economy, hands on activities, VR corner, and live quiz. Once again, the festival hopes to make science learning exciting and fun for thousands of students across India!
