Goethe-Institut
This program is dedicated to a very special naturalist: Alexander von Humboldt. Over 200 years ago, Humboldt discovered, understood and foresaw much of what people are still concerned with today. There is hardly a field of knowledge that did not interest him: animals, people, weather, landscapes, and how everything is related to everything else. That is why he went on research trips lasting several years and wrote down everything that caught his attention. On their own research trip through the jungle, Clarissa and Ralph reveal even more reasons why Humboldt was a great and still relevant natural scientist and why so much was named after him.
