My project title is “Move”. It has three meanings. The first one is moving your body. The Second meaning is using physical function. The last one is moving people’s hearts.

For me, the sound of Tokyo is the sound of someone’s life. With someone, I mean everything like humans, animals, insects, and nature.
Behind the scenes
Move
Saskia
Saskia expresses the unclear phenomena by producing music and makes her sound to understand the role of a body under her concept “Sound to _____ this magnificent cell”. She plays her live set at electronic music parties and festivals. She also directs some installations with various media in galleries and clubs. This experimental swimming between music and art improves her skill and style of creation. All she does is for searching a possibility of sound.Yuki Fujinaga
Film director based in Tokyo. Born in 1989. He creates the dramatic stories through many expression methods. His hobby is traveling in the world, especially in asian countries.Concept
For a few weeks, I recorded a video diary in the city where I live. Familiar scenery, hidden sights and countless dramas are reflected in it. I sketched my emotions that lift up through my daily life by using voices and musical instruments. The environmental sounds which sync with videos and the music which comes out of it prove that the moment existed in the area “Tokyo”.For this project, the videographer Yuki Fujinaga joined to find the different faces of the city from my vision. We’ve distorted the stereotypes born from the word Tokyo and captured the new image. The perspective I got in this way has massaged my stiff brain and showed me various expressions of the city.
I think people can feel “alive” by moving their hearts, and the power generated at that moment becomes the source of creativity. What this video records may be the image of a soul that constantly circulates energy in a corner of the universe.
