Wrap-Up: Standstill Live in Munich
The earth rotates, everything is in constant motion, change is a necessity. It’s high time to dedicate not only this magazine but also a live reading to stillness.
On January 7th, 2023, contributors to the STILLSTAND magazine read excerpts from their texts on standstill at the Habibi Kiosk of the Kammerspiele in Munich.
Enis Maci, Marius Goldhorn, Charlotte Krafft and Pascal Richmann were reading passages about “standstill” aloud and discussed them (in German) at the Habibi Kiosk, followed by music by Elfrid The Third & Ivan Eyes. Filmed by Tanita Olbrich.
The STILLSTAND magazine is a joint project of the Goethe-Instituts in the US, Canada, Mexico, and India alongside the magazine DAS WETTER. The collaboration is an homage to standstills and their poetic beauty with pieces by international artists and writers.
