Joel Kwong

Joel Kwong is an international media art curator and transmedia specialist. She is currently the Programme Director of Microwave International New Media Arts Festival and the founder of SIBYLS – a creative consultation & production agency. Her most recent projects include The Sunata – an audience engagement experience project commissioned by K11 HK for the artist Keith Lam in 2019 and the Transmedia Showcase All about Life & Death in 2020. She has been curating since 2006 with projects in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and the United States. She is also a writer and columnists collaborating with Storyteller in Hong Kong since 2019 where she focuses on a series of ten illustrated short stories on Taste, Memories & Two Cities. She frequently speaks at universities and festivals and lectures part-time in Cultural Management (BA/MA) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and in Media (BA) at SHAPE/ University of Coventry.
