Daniel Salinas Córdova is an independent researcher and writer from Mexico currently based in Germany. He holds a research master's degree in Archaeology and Heritage from the University of Leiden and completed his undergraduate studies in History at Mexico’s National Autonomous University. His research topics revolve around the relationship between heritage, national identity, and tourism, as well as archaeological looting and cultural restitution.
