Max Tauschhuber studied law and European law at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. From the beginning, he worked at the chair of Prof. Dr. Dr. Eric Hilgendorf with a focus on technology law.
Since completing his legal clerkship at the Bamberg Higher Regional Court, he has been working as a research assistant at the RobotRecht research centre. His main areas of interest are liability issues in the context of robotics, automation and artificial intelligence, but also data protection law and criminal liability for decision support systems.
At the same time, Max Tauschhuber is doing his doctorate on the impact of artificial intelligence on human decision-making behaviour and the consequences for criminal liability in the field of medicine.
