Anna von Rath lives in Berlin, where she works as a freelance translator and social justice and diversity trainer. She is co-founder of poco.lit., a platform for postcolonial literature in the broadest sense. She has taught at and obtained her PhD from the University of Potsdam. Her publications focus on Afropoliticism, Ecocriticism, and German colonial history, among other topics. In addition to writing, she has curated and coordinated numerous projects, such as an audio guide for postcolonial city tours of Potsdam and the web app macht.sprache. for politically sensitive translation.
