Omwa Ombara is a Kenyan journalist who has been living in political asylum in the USA since February 2013.
She is author of a political Memoir, “God’s Child on The Run” that extensively covers Kenya’s 2007/8 Post election violence in which 1500 Kenyans died, 650 000 were forcefully displaced from their homes and 40 women and children who sought refuge in a church were burnt to death.
She was named in the Womawords Literary eZine Poet Hall of Fame as Diaspora Africa Contributing Editor in 2020.
