Olorunfemi Johnson works at the Edo Museum of West African Art (EMOWAA) as a Digital Heritage Specialist. He is involved in a project dealing with the digitisation of African artefacts, like the Benin bronzes, and is working in cooperation with the German Archeological Institut, the RJM Museum in Cologne, The Pitt Rivers Museum at the University of Oxford and Cambridge Museum.
He has worked as a director and producer in visual art, film, and technology. His documentary debut “Nigerian Museums: Homes of Identity and Culture” was screened around the world.
His focus points are the birth of a new Africa, the reeducation of the people and building a stronger African identity.
