Marcelo Kischinhevsky

Marcelo Kischinhevsky is Professor in the Graduate Program in Communications at the Universidad Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Director of the institution’s Radio and TV Center. He has coordinated various research groups on sound media and radio journalism. In recent years, he has developed studies that focus on the industries of radio, music and journalism and the consequences of media convergence in the fields of culture and communications. He is the author of several books on the subject. Before becoming an academic, he worked as a journalist at some of the country’s major newspapers and magazines.
