Dennis Kastrup

Dennis Kastrup is a music journalist based in Berlin and Montreal. He has written for Spex, De:Bug, Spiegel Online and the Tagesspiegel, among others, and has done reports for radio stations such as radioeins, Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, WDR, NDR, BR, ByteFM and Radio Canada. For the past few years his main focus has been on new technologies and music. He is the author of an article about future forms of music delivery: Digital Encore: Virtualization, Live Coding and New Interfaces in the collection The Concert III. In 2019, he played a role in Post Humains, a documentary theatre play about the transformation of man in the age of new technologies, he has taken a role in 2019. He also runs the podcast The Illiac Suite - Music and Artificial Intelligence. Dennis lives in Berlin and Montréal.
