Saša Mirković
Founding member of Radio B92
Saša Mirković is one of the founders of Radio B92 in 1989. From 1993 to 2003 he was a general manager of RTV B92. He was president and member of the B92 board of directors, managing director and director for external communications until 2013. From 2006 to 2013, he was one of the founders and board president of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM).
Saša Mirković was Assistant Minister (2013–2014) and State Secretary (2014–2016) in the Ministry for Culture and Information in the Government of the Republic of Seriba. During his mandate three media laws have been adopted and in 2014, Serbia reached its highest ranking (54th place) on Reporters without Borders’ World Press Freedom Index so far.
Saša Mirković has a PhD degree in Art and Media and he holds a masters’ degree of Law from University of Belgrade. He works as a media consultant and lecturer at the Faculty of Media and Communications at Singidunum University in Belgrade, Serbia.
