Milwaukee native Rik de Lisle, who is called “Der alter Ami,” has been a Berliner for more than 40 years. His voice has been a staple of the German capital’s airwaves since it was a divided city and he worked at the U.S. Armed Forces Network Berlin. These days you can hear him on Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 and Radio Bob.
