Alice Aronová
Film historian
Alice Aronová is a Czech journalist, university lecturer and film historian. She graduated from the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, and defended her doctoral thesis in the Theory of Film and Multimedia Production at FAMU. She works as a journalist at Czech Radio. In her publishing, teaching and PR activities, she focuses mainly on the history of film and television, film theory and Jewish cinema and she is also involved in PR for contemporary Czech films. Since 2014 she has had a vote in the Czech Film Critics Awards and since 2017 she has been active as an expert for the State Fund of Cinematography of the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Culture.
