Christian Werner lives in Berlin and is a photographer. He works for many national and international magazines, including 032c, Numéro, ZEITmagazin, Monopol, Frieze, and Das Wetter. The focus of his work is on long-term projects, which have already resulted in several books including Stillleben BRD (Kerber, 2016), Die Blüten der Stadt (with Paul-Philipp Hanske, Suhrkamp, 2018). Bonn. Atlantis der BRD (with Joachim Bessing, Matthes & Seitz, 2019), Los Angeles (Korbinian, 2019), and most recently Everything so democratic and cool (Blake & Vargas, 2020).
