Eleftherios Krysalis
Radio- and Sound Artist
Eleftherios Krysalis was born in Athens and lives in Weimar. He completed his B.A. in Art History and Theory at the Athens University of Fine Arts and his M.F.A. in Media Art and Design at the Bauhaus University Weimar with the professorships of Experimental Radio and Studio for Electroacoustic Music. He was a DAAD scholarship holder from 2018 to 2020 and in charge of the Radio Art Residency Weimar until the end of 2022. Right now he works as an artistic associate at the Experimental Radio Chair and he is a PhD student at the Bauhaus University Weimar. His research and artistic practice are focusing on soundscapes and the politics of listening.
